What is the meaning of Dadu
Dadu:”Da”,refers to the area of Qi is large.”Du”, city,refers to gather center. The name of “Dadu” means that the Qi of the Spleen Meridian gather here. The substance of this point is the Qi from SP 1(Yinbai) point,After reaching this point, it is gathered like a city, hence the name.

SP 2 Acupuncture Point Therapy
Massage therapy
For abdominal distension and stomach pain
Use your thumb and fingertips to pinch and knead SP 2(Dadu) point hard for about 200 times, or press and knead for 3 to 5 minutes to treat abdominal distension and stomach pain.
For cramps
SP 2 is an important point for calcium supplementation for the elderly, and it can also treat muscle atrophy, osteoporosis, and low back and leg pain.
Some elderly have cramps every night,what most likely spleen meridian is blocked and calcium cannot be absorbed.
So, massage SP 2(Dadu) and Shangqiu point for three minutes each day. In general, It will disappear leg cramps after three days.
Moxibustion therapy
Moxa moxibustion on SP 2(Dadu) point for 5 to 10 minutes,or 3 to 5 unit.
