Anterior to the angle of the mandible on the anterior border of the masseter muscle in a groove-like depression (facial artery groove), with cheeks bulged.
What is the meaning of Daying
Daying:”Da”,great,large,”Ying”,reception.The name of “Daying” name means that most of the Qi of Stomach Meridian are transported to the head from this point. The substance of ST 5 is distributed from ST 4(Dicang) point, one goes from the head and face to the chest and abdomen, and the other goes from this point to the head. Since the head is the key area where the amount and quality of Qi is also large,like great reception, hence the name.

- Tooth pain, swollen cheeks, lockjaw, face swelling, facial pain, facial paralysis;

Place ST 5(Daying) acupoint with the thumbs of both hands,When you exhale, press ST 5(Daying) acupoint with the thumbs for 5 seconds. When you inhale, release it.
