0.5 cun proximal to the margin of the web between the ring and the little fingers, in a depression when fist is clenched at the border of the red and white skin.
What is the meaning of Yemen
Yemen:”Ye” means liquid water-qi,” Men”,door.The name of “Yemen” means that the Qi of San Jiao Meridian dissipates and cools down into the ground liquid water-qi. The substance of this point is the cool dampness-qi from SJ 1 point(Guanchong). After reaching this point, the cool dampness-qi vapor quickly dissipates and cools down here,and returns to the ground, hence the name.

- Head and facial disease, such as headache, swelling and pain of eyes, deafness, tinnitus, throat numbness, etc.
- Fever, malaria.
- Arm pain.

SJ 2 Acupuncture Point Therapy
Massage therapy
Press Yemen point with your thumb for 1 to 3 minutes each time,It can relieve arm pain, clear fire and dissipate heat, and prevent from malaria and throat numbness if long-term massage.
Massage method:
- Press Yemen acupoint with the pad of thumb,and rotate and knead this point.
- Until you will feel the obvious soreness and keep it for 2 to 3 seconds, and then leave it. After resting for 3 seconds, press it again. One press and one leave, and repeat it for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Press Yemen points on the left and right sides for 3 to 5 minutes each time in morning and evening.
Acupuncture therapy
Directly puncture Yemen point 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
Moxibustion therapy
Moxibustion on Yemen point for 5 to 10 Minutes, or 3 to 5 unit.
