What is the meaning of Luxi
Luxi,”Lu”,skull,refers to the cold water-qi of the heaven. “Xi”, stop. The name of “Luxi” means that the Qi of the heaven in San Jiao Meridian descend here. The substance of this acupoint is the dampness-qi of the heaven from SJ 20(Jiaosun) point. After reaching this point, it continue to descend due to heat dissipation,like the wind stop, hence the name.

SJ 19 Acupuncture Point therapy
Massage therapy
- Put the index finger and middle finger together and gently massage SJ 19 in clockwise for 1 to 3 minutes, once a day in the morning and evening,which can relieve heat and dredge noise and ears .
- Gently massage SJ 19(Luxi) with the warm palm for 3 minutes, then press Zhigou point with the pad of middle finger for 1 minute, and finally massage Yintang point for 1 minute, which can relieve the infantile convulsion.
Moxibustion therapy
Moxa moxibustion on SJ 19 for 5 to 10 minutes, or 3 to 5 unit.

Combined with Jiaosun, TouWei, and Taiyang point to treat migraines;
Combined with Shuigou, Zhongchong and Hegu point to treat infantile convulsion.
Combined with Fengchi, Taiyang, Tianchong and Naokong point to relieve migraine;
Combined with Taichong point to relieve and treat infantile convulsion vomiting, salivation and carbuncle.
