Dorsal to the head of the ulna in the body cleft on the radial side of the styloid process, found with the palm facing the chest.

What is the meaning of Yanglao

Yanglao: Yang,refers to nursing or care,Lao,refers to the aged. The name of Yanglao means that the qi in this acupuncture point is pure yang-qi. The substance of this point is the hot-qi from Yanggu point. After leaving this point, it swells and turns into pure Yang-Qi,like the Yang-qi in the head of the sky, hence the name.

What is SI 6 Acupuncture Point used for

Indications:Myocardial infarction, cerebral thrombosis, hiccups, acute lumbar sprain, presbyopia, hand pain, facial pain, shoulder and arm neuralgia, stiff neck, hemiplegia, myopia, unclear vision, eyeball bleeding, etc.

Massage Therapy

Pinch the YangLao acupoints with thumb to treat acute lumbar sprains if long-term massage.

Moxibustion therapy
