What is the meaning of YangGu

Yanggu:Yang,refers to the Yang Qi.Gu,valley, the gap between the two mountains. The name of YangGu means that the qi of the small intestine meridians absorb heat and turn into the yang-qi of the sky. The substance of this point is the damp and hot water-qi from the WanGu point. After reaching the point, the water-qi absorbs heat and vaporizes to a higher level of the heavens´╝îlike the valley of Yang Qi, hence the name.

1. Pain syndromes, such as: neck swelling, lateral arm pain, and wrist pain;

Massage therapy

Pinch and press Yanggu acupoint with thumb for 2~3 minutes, it can improve eyesight and calm the nerves and treat wrist pain if long-term massage.

Moxibustion therapy

Mild moxibustion with moxa sticks for 5-20 minutes, once a day,it can treat toothache and shoulder pain.

Gua Sha therapy

Scrape Yanggu acupoint from top to bottom for 3~5 minutes, once every other day, it can treat febrile diseases with anhidrosis, scabies and fatigue etc.
