What is the meaning of Zhizheng

Zhizheng:Zhi,branches of trees.Zheng,the path of Qi. The name of “Zhizheng” means that most of the qi of the small intestine meridian flow through the small intestine meridian. The substance of this point is from YangLao acupoint, but because most of the Yang-Qi of Yanglao point goes up to the heavens, the Qi of this acupoint is empty, so the blood-qi outside the meridian flows into the point and circulates through it and travels along the meridian, hence the name.

What is SI 7 Acupuncture Point used for

  • Stiff neck, headaches, vision issues – blurry, obstructed.
  • Calms the spirit – manic behavior, anxiety, panic attacks, fear.  
  • Useful with onset of exterior wind-heat conditions such as colds/flus that start with neck and/or back pain.
