On the scapula in a depression at the center of the infrascapular fossa, found at the junction of the upper and middle third between the lower scapular spine and the inferior angle of the scapula.
What is the meaning of Tianzong
Tian,refers to the place where the qi in the acupoint is heaven. Zong,refers to ancestral temple,and meet. The name of Tianzong means that the Qi of small intestine meridian go up to the heaven. The substance of this point is the cold ground meridian water-qi from the Nuoshu point, after reaching the point, the water-qi re-vaporizes to the upper part of the heaven.

For Acute mastitis
People take the sitting or supine position,first presses the Tianzong acupoint for 2 minutes, and then find 1 to 2 points around the inflammation for acupuncture.first massage with light intensity,and gradually increases after the needle is lifted,And repeatedly squeeze along the mammary duct towards the nipple, once a day, every 20 minutes.
For shoulder and back pain
Use the thumb to rub the Tianzong point, or press the acupoint area with the root of the palm until feel pain. When kneading or pressing with even strength and gentleness, once a day in the morning and evening, each point for 8-10 minutes, alternating left and right hands.
