What is the meaning of Jianshi
Jianshi,Jian,refers to indirectly,Shi,refers to dispatch. The name of “Jianshi” means that the water-qi of pericardial meridian evaporates here. The material of this point is the water-qi from Ximen point. After reaching the point, the temperature of the water-qi gradually decreases and turns into cool water-qi,as if indirectly dispatch by other things, Hence the name.

PC 5 Acupuncture Point therapy
Massage therapy
Press Jianshi point with thumb for 3-5 minutes each time, once a day in the morning and once in the evening. It is beneficial for vomiting and hiccups; if it is intractable hiccups, acupuncture and moxibustion are better.
Moxibustion therapy
Moxibustion Jianshi acupoint with moxa sticks for 5 to 10 minutes, or 3 to 5 unit.
