What is the meaning of Zhongchong
ZhongChong:”Zhong”, as opposed to the outside, means that the substance of Zhongchong point comes from inside body.Chong, like rushing shot. The name of “Zhongchong” means that the hot-qi of the pericardium meridian rushes out of the body surface. The substance of this acupoint is the high-heat Qi of the pericardium meridian in the body.When going out of the body,like rushing shot, hence the name.

Massage therapy
Press Zhongchong point with the thumb for 5 minutes each time, 2 times a day.
For constipation
Pinching Zhongchong point is commonly used for emergency treatment of angina, coma, and severe dysmenorrhea. Clinically showed that when people with constipation, pinching and pressing Zhongchong point with the tip of the thumb can relieve tension and promote defecation. It can also be used to prevent constipation, especially suitable for the elderly.
For relieving fatigue
First use the left hand to knead Zhongchong acupoint of the right hand for 1 minute, and then use the right hand to knead the Zhongchong acupoint of the left hand for 1 minute, and then compare the pain of the two hands. If the pain which is more obvious, then knead Zhongchong acupoint of that hand,and stop until the pain in both hands is equal.It can refresh brain and relieve fatigue.
Moxibustion therapy
Moxa moxibustion on Zhongchong point for 5 to 10 minutes, or 1 to 3 unit.

Combined with Baihui, Renzhong and Chongmen point to treat stroke unconsciousness.
Combined with Renzhong, Zhongwan, Qihai, Quchi, Hegu etc points to treat heatstroke.
Combined with Yintang, Baihui, Renzhong, Dadun, and Taichong acupoints to treat emergency convulsions.
Combined with Yamen, Sanjian and LR 2(Xingjian) points to treat stiff tongue.
Combined with mingmen acupoint to treat fire and headache.
Combined with Qimen, Changqiang, Tiantu and Xiabai points to treat heartache.
Combined with PC 8(Laogong), Shaochong, Daquan, Jingqu and Lieque points to treat palm heat and elbow pain.
