Yunmen:Yun,refers to the existence of Qi in the acupuncture point is cloud-qi.Men:refers to the door, also the gateway for entry and exit,this acupoint is an important gateway for the lungs and lung of meridians to exchange substance with external. The name of Yunmen means that the Qi of the lung meridian are transmitted outside the meridian by like cloud-qi. The substance of this point is dampness-qi from the Zhongfu point. After reaching the Yunmen point, the dampness water-qi shrinks and turns into cloud-qi, and go out of the meridian, hence the name.
