What is the meaning of Xialian
Xialian: “Xia”,refers to the lower part. “Lian” refers to clear. The name of “XiaLian” means that the substance at the lower part of the point is clean and clear. The substance of this point is the cloud-qi from Wenliu point. In the cloud-qi system, the position of the cloud-qi in this acupoint is high part of the heaven, and the substance of the lower part of the heaven is relatively clean and quiet, hence the name.
