What is the meaning of Shouwuli

Shouwuli:”Shou”,Hand,refers to the hand where the point is located. “Wu Li” refers to the range covered by the point. The name of “Shouwuli” means the larger area covered by the acupoint than that covered by Shousanli acupoint. The substance of this acupoint comes from Xialian acupoint. The Xialian acupoint is the point where the wet cloud-qi begin to descend,and the Shouwuli acupoint is the place where the wet and cloud-qi reached,Hence the name.
