What is the meaning of Bulang
Bulang,Bu,refers to the step,Lang refers to corridor. The name of “Bulang” means that the dampness-qi from the kidney meridian absorbs heat and then rises up. The substance of this acupoint is the dampness-qi from the Youmen acupoint. After reaching this point, dampnessq-qi absorbs heat and dissipates into the wind-qi.The wind-qi blows the soil particles on the ground and rolls upwards, like people walking in a corridor. Hence the name.
What is Bulang acupoint used for
Indications:Cough and wheezing, chest pain, vomiting, loss of appetite,acute mastitis.
Clinical application: bronchitis, intercostal neuralgia, gastritis, etc.
