Jiaoxin acupoint(KI 8) belongs to the Kidney Channel of Foot-Shaoyin,which is commonly used for irregular menstruation, uterine bleeding, vaginal discharge, uterine prolapse, amenorrhea, diarrhea, constipation, dysentery, hernia, testicular swelling and pain.

0.5 cun anterior to Fuliu acupoint(KI 7), 2 cun above Taxi acupoint(KI 3) posterior to the medial border of the tibia.

What is meaning of JiaoXin

Jiaoxin:Jiao,refers to exchange.Xin, refers to information. The name of JiaoXin means that the kidney meridian qi exchanges to Sanyinjiao acupoint here. The substance of this acupoint is the water dampness-qi from Fuliu acupoint. Some of them absorb heat and disperse to the place where the spleen meridian qi and blood.Hence the name;
