With the elbow flexed, 3 cun above HT 3 point on the ulnar side of the biceps brachii in the medial groove.
What is the meaning of Qingling
Qingling:Qing,green, the color of the liver, refers to the movement of qi in the acupuncture points as the horizontally wind movement.Ling, flexible. The name of Qingling means that the movement of qi in this point is the horizontal movement of wind-qi. The substance of this point is the Qi from the HT 1 acupoint(Jiquan). After reaching here, it turns into water,cloud-qi due to heat dissipation, showing the flexible as wind. Hence the name.
What is HT 2 Acupuncture Point used for
- Local point – in many classics needling this point is Not allowed., however, Moxibustion is available.
- Pain in the shoulder or arm. Pain in the lateral chest and/or hypochondriac regions.

Moxibustion at Qingling point with moxa stick for 5-10 minutes, or 1 to 3 unit.
