GB 43 Acupuncture Point(Xiaxi) belongs to the Gallbladder Meridian of Foot-Shaoyang, which can relieve headache, tinnitus and deafness, mastitis, hypertension, etc.puncture 0.3~0.5 cun straight or obliquely.

What is the meaning of Xiaxi

Xiaxi:”Xia”, pinched, the meaning of being pinched in the middle.”Xi”, ravine. The name of “Xiaxi”means that the water of Gallbladder Meridian flows back to the well acupoint through the ground channel. The substance of this acupoint is the meridian water from GB 42(Diwuhui) acupoint. This acupoint only play a role in transporting it along the meridian,and no the water of meridian lost, such as being pinched in a channel and pass down to GB 44(Zuqiaoyin) point, hence the name.
