What is the meaning of Qiuxu

Qiuxu:”Qiu”,Hill,”Xu”, Ruins. The name of Qiuxu means that the spleen soil of the ground is empty affected by the wind-qi of Gallbladder Meridian, The substance of this acupoint is the descending dampness-qi from GB 39(Xuanzhong) point. When the wind blows, the spleen soil of this acupoint is empty, hence the name.

For fatigue

  • First relax muscles, exhale slowly and press GB 40 for 6 seconds, repeat this 10 times. with zusanli point is also very effective. Take a deep breath and exhale it out while hitting Zusanli with hand. Repeat this 10 times to relieve fatigue.
  • Exhale slowly while tapping GB 40 with your palm, repeat this 30 times,then exhale slowly and while pressing Shenmen point for 6 seconds. Repeat this 10 times,which is beneficial for removing mental fatigue.
