What is the meaning of Tongziliao
Tongziliao:”Tongzi”, refers to the black part of eyeball, which is governed by the kidney water,here means the cold dampness-qi. “Liao”, the pore. The name of “Tongziliao” means that the outside cold dampness-qi gathers here, and then cools down and returns to the ground. This point is the first point on the head and face of Gall Bladder Meridian. The Qi of this point is the cold and dampness-qi gathers here,and cools down from the heaven to the ground,like the small cold droplets falling from the pores, hence the name.
