CV 3 Acupuncture Point(Zhonghji), alias Yuquan, Qiyuan belongs to Ren Channel, Front-Mu point of the Urinary Bladder,Crossing point of the Ren Vessel and the Three Yin Meridians of the Foot – (Spleen, Liver and Kidney),which is commonly used for spermatorrhea, impotence, enuresis, abdominal pain, irregular menstruation, metrorrhagia, dysmenorrhea, postpartum lochia, genital itching, uterine prolapse, pelvic inflammatory disease, urinary retention, urinary incontinence, etc. puncture 0.5 to 1 cun straight. Moxa moxibustion 5 to 7 unit,or 10 to 15 minutes.

What is the meaning of Zhongji

Zhongji: “Zhong”,middle, “Ji”, the top beam. The name of “Zhongji” means that the Qi of Ren Channel reached the highest position of the heaven. The substance of this point is the dampness-qi from CV 2(Qugu) point, here is the highest point where it can go up, hence the name.
